I, personally, find the small amount you request for access to be very reasonable (and would continue to think likewise even if the hacking problem did not exist), and your offer to waive it extremely generous.

... Courtesy in the open requires recognition that "free" may cost money, even though open to modification and use. Compusol found a way to run off annoyances to their excellent service provision to this community. Most of the people that try to disrupt such services are not willing to spend money to do so. It is an effective filter. Compusol did not restrict access to this forum (YahooGroup), or to NetManage, or the new forum (EccoOpen). In my opinion this incident shows that no good deed goes unpunished. Compusol provided fantastic help to EccoPro users for many years.

Well, I've been thinking of joining CompuSol for some time, and now it appears I have a practical reason to do so. $10/yr. is a small price to pay for keeping ECCO Pro alive. Thanks for taking the trouble to assemble the "Copy Install" version. I've filed it away for future use.
