Here's a tiny wishlist.

Fix the recurring dates bug.

Get scrolling mice to work without a hack

Nice to have: Update Ecco Shooter to deal with modern apps.

Be sure central metaphor (for folders/columns/etc) is crystal clear and permeates the program.

Remove item limits.

Allow adding *any* folder filed to an item through the "show item info" dialog.

My wish list: 1) Ability to see and print Monthly Calendar View in color (all my appts are color-formatted by Related Group and other criteria and will appear and print as such in Weekly and Daily Views). 2) Ability to have multiple monthly calendars in one Ecco file (without having to create one calendar with some sort of filtering)

It would be great if Ecco had some of the features of the old Lotus Agenda. I seem to recall that in Agenda you could type in "Meet Joe next Tuesday at 4" and it would immediately vanish from the screen and be assigned to that date and reappear when that date arrived. It would automatically assign items to categories, so that if I had a category called Joe it would not only asssign the appointment to the date on the calendar but also to the category called Joe. That way I could easily keep track of everything having to do with "Joe." Of course, I have no idea how any of this was achieved, but I do know Agenda was one helluva program in its day.

Add the ability to add an item to any folder in the show item info dialog on item right click.

Orphan handling - have some mechanism to manage orphans such as: -warn that an orphan is being created -put orphans in orphan folder when created

Appointments... -have appointment tickler show in calendar on the day of the appointment (currently it is hidden on that day) -add option to only show appointment pane on days where there is an appointment on it. -add option to completely hide appointment pane when it is on left of tickler pane -add ability to bring up appointment pane when it is hidden by left clicking mouse on a day in the monthly side show (as can be done with daily and weekly side shows)

Add ability to quickly make sticky notes out of items

Add ability to take notes for individual recurring ticklers

Option for smaller font in status bar area in calendar to show more outline parents

Dialog for appts/ticklers....Make it uniform and complete everywhere (that it makes sense): When left mouse click after selecting an item in calendar/week/summary view and select modify, a dialog box comes up that allows you to modify appts & ticklers. This exact same dialog box should be used anywhere that ecco allows you to set up appointments or ticklers. Some dialog boxes don't allow you to change all aspects of an appointment or tickler. Many have a different look creating confusion. This change would make it more clear, consistant and functional.

Add the ability to put in an exact number of days (instead of just fixed choices) to show tickler/appt in "advanced warning" and "carry forward."

Change default recurrs until date to forever or last available date.

Add *good qulaity!* spell checking...preferably an "in place" underliner with suggestions, ignore all, etc.

Time counter assignable to client/customer and then billing them and tracking billing would be great!

--- Give meaning and function to the heirarchy shown in the folder window, by making it possible to sort the folder order. Right now the window is just an ottoman covered with Pendaflexes: the folders sit where you thrown them.

Ideally, sub-folders should follow their parents when the parents get added to a Notepad. Indicating parent and subfolders in the Notepad display would be even better.
