Why does the EccoPro site require membership?

We have found the best way to stay on top of EccoPro support is to allow users to help each other. Since 1997 CompuSol created an environment which allowed users to upload solutions and suggestions to our server, to download files, or to post questions and messages. Now even more valuable after NetManage was sold and EccoPro support web sites plus FTP download options removed.

Several areas of our site but not all require EccoPro membership. We know that it is a pain to deal with registration and passwords, and we apologize for that, but we feel that it ultimately makes this site better for everyone. A small yearly $10.00 membership fee will be applied for software support, hosting and the maintenance of this site. Thanks for your understanding and patience!

We changed our original login-page, newer browsers have different security requirements. Once your membership is accepted just click on the program or page you wish to download and a window will open with login and password request. Fill in your login name and password given and depending on the operating system you are using you might have to enter it a second time at the next window or at any program or page you wish to download. Make sure Java Script and Cookies are enabled.
